Through monthly social gatherings, we provide a welcoming environment where friendships flourish, confidence grows, and every individual is celebrated for who they are. Our mission is to foster community, promote independence, and empower our members to live vibrant, connected lives. Check out our team <a href=\"https:\/\/mysocialbility.com\/?page_id=59\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<section>\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">\ud83c\udf1f About the Club<\/h2>\n<p>Friendship, Fun, and Belonging \u2014 All in One Place<\/p>\n<p>At MySocialbility, we believe that everyone deserves meaningful connection and a chance to just have fun. Our monthly events are more than just meetups \u2014 they\u2019re opportunities for laughter, creativity, learning, and building lasting friendships in a safe, respectful, and engaging environment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">We offer activities such as:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Game nights<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Movie parties<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Art and craft sessions<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Dance nights<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Holiday-themed celebrations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">Each event is designed with input from our members and their families to ensure it reflects their interests and comfort levels.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">\ud83d\udcac Who Can Join<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">Our club is open to adults (ages 22 and up, some exceptions for 20+ no longer in school may apply) with intellectual and developmental disabilities who are looking to:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Make new friends<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Enjoy structured social time<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Practice social and communication skills<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Be part of a supportive, accepting community<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">We welcome individuals of all abilities and work closely with families, caregivers, and staff to ensure a positive experience for everyone involved.<\/p>\n<p>Please complete the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.rabbitsign.com\/template\/link\/j64JpYnZb5wthmwslwErVV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">online application<\/a><\/strong> or download all three documents <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mysocialbility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/MySocialbility_Participation_Application.docx.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">application, <\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/mysocialbility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/MySocialbility_Rules_of_Conduct.docx.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">rules of conduct<\/a><\/strong> and <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mysocialbility.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/MySocialbility_Liability_Waiver_CanopyWay.docx.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Liability waiver<\/a><\/strong> and email to <a href=\"mailto:mysocialbility@gmail.com\">mysocialbility@gmail.com<\/a> at least 1 week prior to the first event you wish to participate in. We will contact you to confirm availability.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<h2 class=\"section-title\">\ud83d\uddd3\ufe0f When &amp; Where<\/h2>\n<p class=\"p1\">MySocialbility events take place once a month in a centrally located, accessible community space. We currently have two locations, one in Fernandina Beach and one in Jacksonville.
